Disney’s Disability Access Service Travel Planner Review

If you’ve followed my last few blogs, you know that Disney updated their Disability Access Service (DAS). I’ve written about the changes and how to register for it. But today, I am here to report on it’s efficiency. I can tell you that it worked better than I had imagined. One day, we rode every time in Magic Kingdom by 2:00 pm with minimal waiting!

DAS return times are now booked through the app and it is really user friendly. I had my plan in mind on what rides I should look for every time I entered the park and was able to get us booked on the popular rides that come with long wait times. As soon as you scan into your DAS ride, get back into the app and plan another return time.

There were a few times when the app didn’t allow me to plan the return times. This is an easy fix because Disney has Guest Relations representatives scattered throughout each park. Just look for the blue umbrellas. The Cast Members there can help you with a return time or with any other issues you may encounter.

Don’t forget that I can not only book your Disney trip but I can help you understand and use the DAS. As your planner, I will talk you through the app, advise you on what rides to register for, and give my top tips for avoiding any issues with the app once you are in the park.
