Did you know you can use your mobile device to order food and beverages at quick service locations at Disney Parks?  It's so easy to use and helps avoid long food lines.  Disney is enhancing this feature to make it even easier to use the mobile ordering.  The newest update includes simpler navigation, more photos of menu items and colorful icons.  Guests with certain food allergies and food restrictions can also discover safe options that are available at certain locations.  Keep in mind that Disney is very food allergy friendly and the chef will work with

Hi, my name is Janine and I have two boys ages 6, and 2.  Traveling with small children can be stressful, and if you are traveling to Disney for the first time I have 5 tips to make your trip go a little more smoothly. RENT A STROLLER This is my number one tip because even if your child is 5, 6, or even 7 they will at some point get tired from all the walking and want to sit, they may even nap. So, instead of having to

Has the clock struck midnight? One of the highlights of RunDisney is that participants will get to run through at least one of the Disney parks along their race route. The magic of Disney is a powerful draw to those who might otherwise not be inclined to sign up for a race, let alone a half marathon. I mean, come on, who doesn’t want to wear a tutu and run through a Disney park in a Princess themed race? Disney was certainly motivation for me to sign up for

If you remember how much I fell in love with Disneyland, (or you can read about it here) it will be no surprise that I am beyond excited about the announcement of a new hotel coming to Disneyland. For the first time in almost two decades, Disneyland will open a new hotel, but not just any hotel, a Four Diamond Hotel! It is set to open in 2021, and will transform the west end of Downtown Disney District. This amazing 700-room hotel will feature a sophisticated design and will

Running for Adventure Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend I am a cold-weather runner to my core. Give me a day that’s 70 degrees or below and I’m in heaven, AKA the treadmill is my best friend between the months of June and August. Though I initially wasn’t planning on participating in another runDisney race this year, when they announced that the theme for this year’s Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend would be Pixar I absolutely couldn’t resist. But training in for a half marathon in the Tennessee summer? Yikes! The combination of

Running for Adventure Disney Girl on Fire My running journey began about four years ago when I was talked into running a half marathon. Yep, that’s the face I made as well. No matter how terrified I was, it was something new to try so I started running (run-walking really) about three miles every day. Three miles a day and longer on the weekends for four months would give me enough training, right? Nope, I ended up overtraining and about two weeks out from the race blew out my

July 15,  2017 was a BIG day for Disney fans!  At the 2017 D23 Expo in California, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman, Bob Chapek made announcement after announcement of many exciting things we can expect to hit the Disney sphere in the next several years to come!  At the biannually held convention, Mr. Chapek informed us of new restaurants, rides, lodging, transportation options, experiences, additionalcruise ships, and more! Disney fans are bursting with anticipation like never before!  Here’s a summary of what we can expect to see

We just got back from an amazing (mostly Disney themed!) trip to California and Hawaii. It was a grand Pacific Adventure. The thought of taking 2 kids under 2 seemed like a daunting task but I am SO glad we went!  The kids may not remember much, but seeing the joy on their faces is something that will stay with me forever. We began our Pacific adventure in Disneyland.  Luke and Lily love Mickey, Minnie, Jake, Sophia and Doc so they were in heaven.  The characters are so approachable
