Park Hopper Option Returns to Walt Disney World
Exciting news! The Park Hopper option is returning to Walt Disney World Resort! Starting January 1, 2021, guests who have purchased a ticket, package or annual pass with a Park Hopper option will be able to once again visit more than one park per day.
Disney has made some changes to the Park Hopper system so it will be a bit different from the last time you park hopped. Guests must first make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park they plan on visiting as well as enter that first park. Starting at 2 pm each day, guests will be able to utilize their Park Hopper until the park’s closing time. The times may change, so it is recommended to visit DisneyWorld.com/ParkHours for the most up to date information on Park Hopper times and park closing times. These changes are Disney’s way of managing social distancing and limiting the attendance at the parks.
Park hopping is a great way to be able to capture as much of the Disney magic as possible during your stay. Keep in mind that park capacity may impact which park you are able to enter with your Park Hopper. Only guests with a Disney Park Pass reservation to Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be able to enter the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
