2018 Changes to the Disney Dining Plan
DISNEY DINING PLAN GETS UPDATED
Everyone has their favorite Disney food selections or restaurants whether it’s Mickey waffles, turkey legs, a Dole whip, or fine French cuisine at Be Our Guest, everyone has their own list of must-have foods to enjoy during their visit to Disney. Most travelers are aware of the Disney Dining Plan, however now in 2018 there are new and exciting changes that are taking place.
There are three basic Disney Dining Plans that can be purchased and enjoyed during your stay: Quick Service, Standard, and Deluxe. The plans are priced per person and include:
Quick Service Dining: two quick service meals, two snacks, and one refillable resort mug
Standard Dining: one table service meal, one quick service meal, two snacks, and one refillable resort mug
Deluxe Dining: three meals (which can be used interchangeably at quick or table service), two snacks, one refillable resort mug
However, The BIGGEST change with the 2018 Dining plans are the addition of beverage choices! Guests under 21 years of age can choose one non-alcoholic specialty beverage with their meals. Specialty non-alcoholic beverages may include: artisanal milkshakes, smoothies, hot chocolate, soda, coffee, or tea. Guests 21 and older can choose either one specialty beverage or one single serving alcoholic beverage. Those beverages can include a single serving: mixed cocktail, beer, or wine with their meal choices.
This has come as quite exciting new for those concerned about finances as well. The cost of Disney Dining Plans have increased to include the new option choices, but discuss your options with your travel agent – you will be pleasantly surprised with the all new options offered for the small increase for all the Magical Value you will get in return. As always, when you are dining in Disney your Cast member can ensure you know what your drink choices and food options are.

The little ones can choose to have the Peanut Butter and Jelly milkshake with the whipped cream piled high on top at the 50’s Pime TIme Cafe or adults can enjoy a glass of red wine specifically paired to compliment your Center-cut filet Mignon at Be Our Guest to make your dining experiences EVEN more MAGICAL!
