Disney world has many resorts, and lots of options for every budget. I recently visited Walt Disney World staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and I think it’s a great choice for a family who needs a family suite or wants some extra space without a high price tag.
The theming at Art of animation is bright, colorful, fun and wonderful for children, and adults of all ages. As soon as you arrive at the resort and walk into the lobby you are greeted with the bright colors, and a wall that tells the story of animation from beginning to end.
The Art of Animation Resort is known by many for the three different themed family suites that sleep up to 6 guests. The amazing themed areas and rooms you will find here at Art of Animation are Cars, Finding Nemo, and the Lion King. The Family suites include a bedroom with one queen-size bed; one double-size convertible TableBed; one double-size sleeper sofa; living room; 2 bathrooms and a kitchenette that features a mini frig and microwave.
If you don’t need a family suite or have someone in your family who is a huge fan of The Little Mermaid, Art of Animation offers standard rooms decorated in The Little Mermaid theme.
Do you love spending time at your resort and soaking up the sun by the pool? If so there are 3 pools that you can choose from. The big blue pool located by the Finding Nemo Themed Family suites (the largest pool in the Walt Disney World Resorts), the cozy cone pool that is located by the Cars Family Suites and themes for those who love Cars and lastly the flipping fish pool located in the Littler Mermaid standard room location. Each themed pool has larger than life characters from your favorite movies and offer such bright and colorful areas.
Lastly and one of the most important things this resort offers is the food court, Landscape of Flavors! In my opinion Landscape of Flavors is one of the best food courts, it offers a variety of foods that are equally delicious daily from 6am to midnight.
If you’re considering a different hotel options remember staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort gives you extra room for the family at an affordable price. Don’t forget staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort in the future will allow you to use the new Skyliner transportation coming in 2019. The Skyliner will connect you to Hollywood studios, and Epcot! Just another perk to staying here!
